Poland’s ESI sentiment indicator rises by 1.6 pts m/m in April

Polish corporate sentiment increased in April, with the European Commission’s ESI measure up by 1.6 point month on month to 101.4 points, a statement from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Financial and Economic Affairs (DG EcFin) showed.

The ESI level of 100 points represents a long-term average (since 1990).

Sentiment in industry edged down 0.6 pts to negative 11.4 points from negative 10.8 points in March, DG EcFin said.
