Poland?s unemployment rate dropped to 12 percent from 12.5 percent in May, the Central Statistial Office announced on Wednesday.
The number of registered unemployed amounted to 1.91 million in June, a drop of 71.4 thousand people on May?s figures.
In year-on-year terms, unemployment in June dropped by 9.3 percent.
The highest unemployment rate was seen in the Warmian-Masurian province (19 percent) and in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province (16.2 percent), while the lowest registered unemployment rates were found in the western Wielkopolska province (8.3 percent) as well as in Mazovia and Silesia (both at 10.2 percent).
Meanwhile, in June a total number of 85.3 thousand jobs were advertised in labour offices across the country, down from 95.9 thousand in May. Jobs for disabled individuals amounted to 4.9 thousand in June.
