The infrastructure and development ministry announced on Monday that during the EU?s financial perspective 2007-2013, Poland managed to spend PLN 270.1 billion, of which EU co-financing stood at PLN 191.4 billion.
During the budget period, almost 100,000 contracts were signed were financing amounting to around PLN 400 billion.
The ministry announced on its website that it had signed almost 97,000 agreements for PLN 395.7 billion, with EU co-financing at PLN 274.6 billion, 97.5 percent of the EU?s allocated funds for the 2007-2013 period.
Poland is set to receive ?82.5 billion in cohesion funds over the next budget perspective 2014-2020, with the money set to go towards academia, key road infrastructure projects, as well as entrepreneurial development, among others.
