Poland?s Ministry of Finance will suggest a 3.4 percent GDP growth forecast for the 2015 budget framework, Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek was quoted as saying by the Polish Press Agency.
Poland?s gross domestic product grew by 3.2 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2014, according to the data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Seasonally adjusted GDP growth in Q2 was 0.6 percent compared to the previous quarter and 3.2 percent y/y.
?The figure is most likely not for further discussion,? Szczurek said, referring to the GDP growth forecast. ?This year we expect the growth to be 3.3 percent.?
The average annual inflation forecast will be similar to the one published by the National Bank of Poland. The central bank expects it to be 0.3 percent in 2014 and 1.5 percent in 2015.
