Poland is expected to have a record year in terms of furniture exports in 2015, according to market analysts.
Producers are expecting exports to amount to EUR 8.7 billion this years, an estimate published by market sector analysts B+R Studio reveals.
The figure would see an increase in exports of some 9 percent in year-on-year terms.
Germany is the largest recipient of Poland’s furniture, with sales to the country’s western neighbour tallying up to EUR 3.1 billion in 2014.
Sales of furniture to the UK amounted to EUR 620 million, while Sweden bought furniture to the tune of EUR 312 million.
