Poland’s healthcare market will be growing by 7% annually in the years 2016-2021 to exceed PLN 58 billion in 2021, according to PMR industry researcher.
Leading sub-segments include health insurance which enjoys the swiftest growth prospects in the period due to the low base. Medical care plans as well as fee-for-service sector should enjoy double-digit growth rates, as the market will be supported by rising consumption and accelerating inflation, PMR report reads.
In 2015, Polish private healthcare market grew by some 6% year on year to PLN 39.5 billion.
