Changes which aim to make conducting business in Poland easier were on Wednesday signed into law by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who initiated the reform.
The changes have been introduced to protect the interests of micro, small, and medium-sized companies, which account for 99.8 percent of all businesses in Poland, Duda said.
Under the amendments, the effects of proposed future laws on business will be analysed in a bid to counter complicated tax laws and plethora of administrative responsibilities, Duda said.
As such, it is “justified to undertake special efforts in order to adjust proposed … regulations to the specifics of operating micro, small and medium-sized business,” Duda added.
