Poland’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate falls to 6.9%

Poland’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment edged down to 6.9% in January from a level of 7.1% in December, according to harmonized unemployment rate report from EU statistical office Eurostat.

Poland’s own unemployment reading in January, based on registrations rather than a labor force survey, measured 10.3% and was up 0.5 pps month on month, Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said earlier.
