Poland’s registered unemployment rate in March fell to 10.0% from 10.3% in February, Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a statement.
The unemployment rate figure matches the preliminary estimate of the Labor Ministry.
The number of registered unemployed stood at 1.601 million. The number was down by 52,200 month on month and 260,000 year on year.
The number of new registrations fell 5,000 m/m and 1,900 y/y to 185,700. The number of people crossed off the register reached 237,900.
Employers filed 140,500 job offers during the month, up by 8% m/m.
