Poland wants to found the Polish Trade & Invest Agency with a budget of PLN 100 million in 2017 for supporting Polish exports, deputy Development Minister Radoslaw Domagalski told the Economic Forum in Krynica. The new institution will evolve from the current foreign investment agency PAIiIZ and will be an element of a new model of supporting Poland’s foreign investments, Domagalski also said.
“We want to present a completely new and comprehensive model of supporting exports and foreign investments by public administration. (…) Our model is goal-oriented,” Domagalski claimed.
Poland is also mulling the introduction of “modern financial and operational instruments for supporting exports” the deputy minister revealed.
Within the new model, the Development Ministry will perform a supervisory role and will set strategic goals for the development of Polish exports.
