Poland becomes more and more popular et the Expo Milano 2015. Last weekend a record number of people visited Poland’s pavilion. At this time Commissioner General Sławomir Maiman received a Japanese delegation with the head of investment agency JETRO and the commissioner of Japanese Expo’ pavilion. The exposition in Milano is being held under the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life,” and about 147 countries take part in it.
At the finish of Expo 2015 Poland promotes itself with the rising stars of the domestic economy—industrial design and modern technology sector.
The exhibition on October 12 “Made in Poland” started with the fashion show of designer Michał Starosta. Design is one of the fastest growing segments of Polish exports and gaining importance brand ambassador of “Made in Poland.” In accordance with the Young European Designers’ report prepared by MyBaze.com, there are about 4 000 young designers and our native sector is worth around $ 1 billion.
Simultaneously with “Designed in Poland” second Polish exports’ sector promotes itself in Poland’s Pavilion, which is the IT sector including Polish technology startups. During the Week of Polish ICT on Expo 2015, the most innovative and intelligent technologies from Poland with the robot EUgenius will be shown. Each of the exhibits proves that Poland is heading towards a knowledge—based economy.
