Welcome to the 5th edition of “Open to Scandinavia”!
Investment potential of Warmia and Mazury (the northeastern region of Poland) and export opportunities of local products to Finland and Sweden, are among the key topics of discussion at the “Open to Scandinavia” conference. The conference (Elbląg, September 14th) is meant to set the stage for further cooperation between the Nordic countries and Warmia and Mazury.
“Open to Scandinavia” gathers local entrepreneurs, representatives of business environment institutions and public administration. Among conference participants are representatives of Finnish and Swedish companies interested in finding local business partners in construction, IT, metal and textile industries. The conference will also be joined by representatives of FinPro and the Swedish Embassy in Poland.
– Besides providing an excellent opportunity for business networking, the conference will also address relevant issues related to differences in Polish and Scandinavian business culture during interactive workshops – states Gustaw Marek Brzezin, the Marshal of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship (head of the regional-level government). New business opportunities due to infrastructural changes in the region, will be the overarching theme of the planned panel discussion.
