Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced on Friday the 17th of April that seasonally unadjusted economic growth in the country amounted to 3.4 percent in 2014, up from 1.7 percent in 2013. Domestic demand rose by 4.9 percent year-on-year, while domestic consumption rose by 3.1 percent. In terms of trade, exports rose by 5.7 percent in 2014, while imports rose by 9.1 percent.
