Amazon Poland announced on Monday that it will raise employee salaries, and does not rule out more investments in the country.
The US retail giant employs some 5,500 people in Poland, although it does not yet operate a Polish-language internet store.
The increase in salaries of all employees at three logistics centres in Poland is the result of a global annual remuneration review process.
This is the second such raise since Amazon entered the Polish market in 2014. The previous raise was in August 2015. The company operates two logistics centers near Wrocław and one in Poznań.
It has since invested over PLN 3 billion in the country.
Steve Harman, Director of Continental Europe FC Operations told the PAP news agency that the company is pleased with the results in Poland. The company has not ruled out plans for further investments in Poland
