Polish-Swedish partnership for defence

Long-term cooperation with Poland and its defense industry is of strategic importance for Sweden. Both countries have a large number of common needs – this paves the way for further engagement for mutual knowledge transfer says Daniel Larsson, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Sweden. This is also an opportunity for further cooperation development under the Framework Agreement on mutual cooperation in the field of defense. The Agreement was signed between the Polish and Sweden in 2015. Interestingly, Poland is one of the few countries Sweden has signed such a document with. Last year the two countries signed the Declaration on cooperation in the field of innovation  this serves as the best proof that Poland’s and Sweden’s have become tighter – adds the Counsellor.
