Warsaw is becoming an increasingly popular residential location: the city’s share in new mortgage loans issued in Q1 rose to 41% from 25% two years ago, data from the banking union ZBP suggest.
Warsaw also accounted for over 40% of big-city housing starts in Q1, while the number of new apartments introduced to the developers’ offer in the period rose by 44% to 5,700, according to real estate agency REAS.
